CCTV to deter club land trouble
Troublemakers are being targeted by police who will use a mobile CCTV unit to record any incidents in a new crack down on anti-social behaviour.
Police in Great Yarmouth were due to start the new campaign in the early hours of Saturday.
They also aim to maintain a high profile during the weekend.
Dave Gladden, manager of the safer community team, said: "We want to ensure people have a good night but without the trouble."
The operation is called Night Safe and police are coordinating a number of different agencies to tackle trouble in Great Yarmouth's club land.
Mr Gladden said: "Clubbers will see more police on the streets but we see their job as one of education and providing information as well as crime prevention."
