Bouncers assaulted outside club

Two bouncers were stabbed and beaten outside a nightclub in Chelmsford, police have said.

One man was stabbed in the back and the other hit over the head with a blunt instrument during the attack outside Dukes club on Tuesday morning.

The door staff were not named but one was aged 29 and the other 41. They were treated at Broomfield Hospital.

Essex Police are examining CCTV footage of the nightclub to help track down those responsible for the attack. Story from BBC NEWS:
